"My Cluttered Handwriting" tag

Good Morning :-) I was out of town yesterday and I apologize if I was not able to visit u :-) I just woke up and the usuall routine was to do my task! Check mails, comments and msgs!

Maxi, finally I can do the tag you gave me yesterday. "My Cluttered Handwriting" tag is a big OMG for me because I have a very bad hand writing but I will still do it even my eyes are still half closed!Maxi here is my penmanship :))

It has been over a week that I can't sleep well. I have been so worried about KZ. He keeps on crying and he losses his appetite. I have been wondering what would be the problem because he seems to be ok. I asked Anne of Mary Ann's Musing about it because I suspect he must be on his teething stage.

I made some thorough readings and I found out that babies begin teething at around six months. KZ is now 7 months! So anyway, babies show signs of teething weeks and even months before teeth actually appear. The common signs include irritability, drooling, chafed lips, frequent chewing of toys or fingers, swollen gums, mild fever, ear pulling and loss of appetite.

PATTERNS. Baby teeth usually appear in pairs, with the lower front incisors usually appearing first. The other six incisors (four on top and two more on the bottom) usually appear between six and twelve months. Whew! I have to expect more sleepless night.

TIMING. Pairs of baby teeth, or sometimes four at a time, usually appear every four months or so. Girls usually get their teeth before boys. Lower teeth usually appear before upper teeth, with the uppers following shortly after the lower ones. Some tendencies to cut teeth earlier or later appear to be genetic.

So, this morning I tried checking his gums. I noticed two white teeths forming. Ready to come out soon. Now I understand why he need some more lovin' !!!

Compare Your Credit Card

Call centers are anywhere and they offer different kinds of services. From travel tickets, loans and even credit cards. I, as a busy person doing a lot of task on a daily basis. I needed one for emergency cases most especially during out of town trip.

Now, most of the banks that are existing have their own agents so I decided to apply for a credit card in my issuing bank. As we all know that credit card is very convenient if we run out of cash. But anyway, I feel sorry because I was not able to compare the interest that each bank that are offering. What would you feel if you find out that other credit card companies are offering very low interest compared to the one you are using?I bet you will be disappointed like me!

It is still better to make some credit card comparison before getting one. Most especially if you are into business. It will be ideal if they offer the best benefits for us like when we purchase something and we earn through money back from the stuff we bought and I love free air miles! I travel most of the times and I really love rewards. Actually, there a lot of card rewards recently but the free air miles is the best that suits my needs.

Holodomor Truth

For the past years, I have been a supporter of peace. In the Philippines, a group of peace advocates started a signature campaign calling for a lasting peace in the area of Mindanao. When we say peace, it does not mean absence from freedom but it could also be emotional, psychological and mental destruction. We have a lot of problems that arises from the wrong hands of our economic leader. I could name a few that recently bothers the Philippine economy and famine is one.

On the other hand, we are not the only country who are experiencing famine. Way back 1932-1933, it occurred in the Ukrainian SSR wherein 6-8 million people died from starvation or the term they called golodomor. The word golodomor means death by starvation or mass hunger.

The scholars estimated that 1/4 of the entire population of Soviet Union died from Hunger. According to their estimate :Central Russia 2 million, Kazhastan - 1.7 million, Ukraine - 1.3 million, North Caucasus - 1 million peasants died from golodomor.

During that time, it was under the regime of Joseph Stalin. He designed the "Industrialization" and "Collectivization" policy. The transformation sought by Stalin by siezing grains from the peasantry and exported most of their Republic's agricultural output to the West in order to sustain the rapid economic transformation was harsh.

As I continued my reading about the real causes of the golodomor tradegy. I found out that the real causes had even divided the historian and experts. Some people say that in order to politicize the issue of golodomor and get the worlds' attention, the word golodomor have been changed into holodomor making it sounds like 'holocaust,' and it could be considered as a genocidal famine. Genocide means the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. This was made to attack the Ukrainian but it was denied by the the European Parliament in its resolutuion on 23 October 2008. It was rejected to call the famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as "an act of genocide" but a crime that was "cynically and cruelly planned by Stalin's regime in order to force through the Soviet Union's policy of collectivization of agriculture".

Based on what I have read, if the industrialaztion was abandoned during that time, the famine would have been prevented or atl east it was significantly alleviated. But there were other reasons also for this famine. The poor management and lack of agricultural mechanism like, no tractors and less employed havesters were few of the reasons. In 1929, in the same area, Sovkhozes suffered a great loss because of lack of manpower and infrastructure but still they continued sowing wheat without fertilizers.

At all event, the Stalin policy which is the Industrialization" and "Collectivization" contributed the famine to the Ukrainian. It was crazy to pursue an export of food when there is nothing to harvest. Now, I could only say it was not the failure of Ukrainian but Stalin himself was the failure.

Blog Parasites

You must be wondering why I choose the title and what is the story behind my blog title.
First and foremost let us discuss what is the meaning of parasite in a broader aspect.

PARASITE means One who habitually takes advantage of the generosity of others without making any useful return.

Lets continue, why blog parasites? as I continue mending my shattered brain because of my PR dropped to zero. I realized it is time to acknowledge the people who stick with me in times like this.

First, I would like to extend my two thumbs up to Maxi. She added me in her list even my PR was zero that time. She frequently gave me tips about why PR dropped. Oftentimes commented on my post. Recently made me a banner. Maxi has a PR 3 but didn't delete me in her list. You deserved PR 10. You are loved by your friends because you are very helpful without asking anything in return.
