ME as an EMPRESS :-)
Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.
The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.
The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

Baby Care Tips: Baby Yourself
B Baby yourself is all about taking care of our physical needs
Before we can effectively take care of our baby, we need to take care of ourselves.
First, we need to EAT WELL. A good diet will help us feel better, gives us the energy we need, and provide good nutrition for our baby if we are breastfeeding. We need to avoid alcohol, too much caffeine, any drug not recommend by our doctor, and any food that seems to give us—or our baby—indigestion.
Second, we need to DRESS COMFORTABLY. Let us not try to wear our pre-pregnancy clothes for a few weeks after the birth. They usually don’t fit well, and that can be depressing. Instead, wear loose, comfortable clothes such as breastfeeding tops and elastic-waist pants.
BE FIT mommysssssssss :-)

That you'd find your way to me?
Tell me what is this sweet sensation?
It's a miracle that's happened

Only one thing it could be -
That I was born for you
It was written in the stars

Conspired to make you mine

Praying For The Thailand Trip
I had a short conversation with my partner this morning :-) We talked a lot of things, family, work, friends and even the family of his friend. See??? We talk anything under the sun.
He was a bit tired because they had a visitor from Japan for a plant visit. As expected- SUSHI :)) yum yum yum :))
We had a lil chat about the Thailand trip which is originally plan to be on the 1st week of February. According to him, he doesn't want to push it too hard :)) but the truth is- he wants this trip so much. He asked me to pray for it. I am really hoping that this trip will push thru :)) we both need a break :)) We already plan to see this temple and Hollywood Bar :))
Whew! If this trip will push thru, this will be my 2nd trip outside the Philippines. 1st was in Kuala Lumpur, I spend my New Year ALONE :)) but I had so much fun trying their dishes. The twin tower is beautiful. A must-see country.

Baby Care Tips:Adjusting to Parenthood
Life is different when you are a mother. There are a lot of things to consider about your new born/infant and about us. As a mom of 5 months old baby boy, let me share with you some helpful tips about baby care. I hope this can help expectant moms and new moms. Let me hear from you. You can leave a comment.
Lets start with the Baby and Parent: It's bonding for life
A close attachment between you and your baby begins at birth (and to some extent in utero) and continues to grow over time. To ensure an early attachment with your baby, you should do the ff:
HOLD YOUR BABY. The best way to begin the bonding process is to hold your baby as much and as long as you like- no matter what relatives and friends might say about spoiling him. You cant spoil your baby in the first year of life.
LOOK AT YOUR BABY. Make eye contact with your new-born and watch his eyes meet yours. He may be attracted to your hairline at first (because of the contrast), but soon he’ll be gazing lovingly into your eyes. Bat your eyes and move them around to help him focus attention there.
NURSE YOUR BABY. Breastfeed your baby,if possible ,or hold him every time you formula-feed him. This will enhance the feelings of attachment between you. Never prop a bottle to feed your baby. This will not only impair his attachment and overall development, he may choke on the milk as it pours down his throat.
TOUCH YOUR BABY. Your baby responds to your touch. Int fact, he thrives on it. Massage him, stroke hi, caress him, and handle him throughout the day. Your touch helps him grow in every way.
WEAR YOUR BABY. Carry your baby around in a front pack or sling. Your arms will be free to do things while your baby is rocked and comforted next to your body. It’s an easy and convenient way to keep your baby close to your heart.
SPEND TIME WITH YOUR BABY. Enjoy your baby by chatting, singing, rocking, and sharing special moments with him each day. The time really does pass quickly, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Blog Advertising Rocks
I started blogging to relieved my stress and to keep myself busy while I'm on my maternity leave. And originally, I just want my blog to be just my daily journal. A place where I can say anything I want to say, share my thoughts about my pregnancy, my passion for cooking, my travels, beaches , the fine dining I have experienced and advertising an international DJ.
It was very recent when I finally decided to make my blog a paid one and I am so blessed I was introduced to advertising and blogs. I usually promote my partner, a DJ through social websites but we can reach wider readers if I advertise through blog. So, whenever he has a gig or anything, I blog about it.
Now, that I am into paid reviews, I am more than happy to write since I can monetize my posts and check great websites that need reviews. When PayingPost approved my blog, I was just too excited to blog more with it.
My DJ partner got more exposure and when I started blogging about his stints. So, this proves that online advertising is effective and cost-friendly. I have seen other enterprises who go online to sell their products and services. And, normally feedback from other people helps make the sales. This makes advertisement through first-hand experience more effective.
We sell our very own store through online too and usually, our buyers are from different places. With trust on our products and the recommendations of our other satisfied clients, our potential customers do actually business with us. We don’t want to betray that trust by false advertisement. Thus, we are pretty conscious with what we write.
The need to choose the right advertising medium is also critical. One can consider the cost and the breadth that this advertising site can reach. I can only say that online advertisement is now the trend and considered effective in supporting brick or physical stores or otherwise. Truly, technology has brought wonders to me as an amateur blogger and a young entrepreneur.

El Ultimo Critico
This was a long and overdue post. I was supposed to post this after the night we visited the Generals Brew.
Two weeks ago, an old friend of mine gave us a surprised visit at the store. Since it has been how many years from the last time we saw each other. She invited me over a cup of coffee. She decided to go to a place where it's not crowded. So coffee dream-ERASED :)) Her gay friend blurred out this name Generals Brew- He said, it's new. So, we decided to visit this recent coffee place. I don't know how recent the place was :)) !!! I don't even recognized the name.
Anyway, we went inside the coffee shop. I heard her gay friend trying to give a critic on the place- from the tiles and the entire interior :))- Sorry but I think it failed to please her (his) eyes :))
We ordered- customer service is way too slow :))
We chatted a little- crew is keep on changing the lights. From dimmed lights to fully lighted then put some lights off... What was he thinking? Maybe cost cutting that is why he put off some light. Or maybe he was thinking it will be more sweet to make it darker :)) What the heck :P
Worst- I hate it- a lot of mosquitoes are flying when he puts off the light.
Sigh!!! I'm not gonna go there again :)) I miss starbucks :((

Palm Reading
I was watching THE OMEN at the store when an old lady came into our store. She was selling a lot of stuffs that I don't actually recognized. But when I tried peaking to what she's holding, it looks like a ginger but it's not! A plastic bracelet with different colors and a bracelet out of round plastic beads. Right from there, I knew she was selling stuffs for good luck and to cast away bad spirits. Pretty sure pinoy knew about this!!!
and then
She started the conversation by selling it to me but I said no. Then she offers a palm reading for free. But ofcors DONATION for the service.
I'm not actually a fanatic of this kind of beliefs but I have nothing to lose if I try. When she started reading my palm, I was surprised, every word coming out from her mouth is real. From money to love life, she was actually right about everything.
She told me something- that my palm has a diamond lines. Everything will happen over and over again which makes me afraid. I'm afraid of losing the one who is very important to my life now :-( So, I ask her to pray for me and she made a lil ritual on my palm using a needle. Sigh! Hope things will be just fine. I hate losing someone that I love so much.

A New Year and a New Beginning :))
I have just finished talking to my Havaianas supplier and one link caught my attention : 2009 Horoscope! So, as soon as I saw it- i didnt hesitate to check if my sun sign will shine on 2009 :))
well, here it is!!!!
Cancer Outlook for 2009
As we enter the Golden Age of Aquarius, you are ready to receive all the blessings that are there for you, especially in the areas of communications and relationships.Being understood and getting the responses you desire helps you believe in your ability to succeed and reach your highest potential. Your focus is excellent, and you know what you want. Use this to your advantage when working with others, but don't demand that they see your ideas as visionary -- even if you do. As ideas start flowing freely to you, make sure you articulate your insights clearly.
This year, you will be strongly motivated by transformation, especially in romantic unions. When balanced in your heart and mind, you easily express your emotions and are quick to support others. It is important for you to have a partner who is willing to explore different ways of doing things. You will experience many changes as you learn new ways of expressing yourself.
As you make this shift, avoid putting restrictions on yourself and stopping the flow. You are learning to behave in a new positive way, not worrying about the outcome. This will curb your need to control situations and enable you to take your relationships -- work and personal -- to a higher level of consciousness.
Looks pretty good right???
